1. Deleting Messages:-

One of the basic reason for WhatsApp getting slow is due to its temporary saved data. It’s well known that Whatsapp is not just restricted to text messages but we can send and receive audio, photos, and videos as well.

Thus, the number of photos and videos are shared daily to you will be stored in your memory only; also it takes a lot of time to load.

So the basic thing you can do is delete unwanted photos, audios, and videos from your handheld device which certainly will free up some memory of Whatsapp and it will load faster than before.

There are two ways to delete the images, videos which are stored on your device:-

1. You can go to your gallery, next select Whatsapp images/videos folder and select the unwanted images/videos you want to delete and then delete them.
2. You can use the ES File Explorer to do this as well (If you don’t have ES File Explorer on your device then you can download it from Google Play Store by clicking on the name). Then install and then open the ES File Explorer then select SDcard0 {if you installed Whatsapp on your internal memory} or SDcard1 {if you installed Whatsapp on your Memory card / SDcard}. Now go to Whatsapp folder then select media folder then select Whatsapp Audio / Images / Videos and then select the unwanted files you want to delete.
