Microsoft’s latest operating system (OS) Windows 10 comes with a new photo viewing app which can play slideshow, edit photo, display photos from OneDrive and help you to manage albums.
Users feel that the new photo viewing app is a bit slower when compared to the older versions which were used in older versions of Windows. Users are wondering why Microsoft removed the Windows Photo Viewer but actually they haven’t. It’s just hidden and is not made visible on the Default Programs and Default apps list in the settings. How To Bring Back Windows Photo Viewer In Windows 10:-
Step 1:- Click here to download the PhotoViewer.reg file.
Step 2:- Double click on the download PhotoViewer.reg file or right click it and select merge option.
Step 3:- Then click Yes Button when the user account control pop’s up.
Step 4:- Again click Yes when the Registry Editor pop’s up.
Step 5:- Now click OK button when you get the successfully added pop up comes. That’s it now you have enabled the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 10.
Step 6:- Right click the photo which you want to open.
Step 7:- Next select “Open With” in the list.
Step 8:- Then select choose another app which in the bottom and then select “More apps” option which will be in the last option.
Step 9:- Now you can find “Windows Photo Viewer” app in the list select it and then enable “Always use this app to open .jpg files”.
