After numerous leaks, Samsung has finally taken the wraps off the most anticipated smartphone of the year. Samsung has unveiled latest flagship devices Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus at the event in New York, today.

Display, Design, Thickness & Weight:
The S8 comes with a 5.8-inch screen and the S8+ features a 6.2-inch display. Both the devices come with Super AMOLED and Quad HD resolutions, which is a 2K display.
This gives the Galaxy S8 a pixel density of 570ppi whereas the larger Galaxy S8+ gets a pixel density of 529ppi.
Speaking about the display, it features an aspect ratio of 18:9 and completely goes bezel-less on the side.
On the front, as rumors suggest the Samsung ditched the fingerprint scanner from the front and moved it to the back of the device. Samsung has introduced a special button on the side of the device to launch the all new Bixby voice-assistant.
The Galaxy S8 measures 8mm thick and weighs 155 grams, on the other hand, the Galaxy S8+ measures 8.1mm with a weight of 173 grams.
RAM, Processor, Storage & Battery:-
Both the devices powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core chipset and some regions will have Exynos 8895 instead of Snapdragon 835.
Samsung S8 and S8+ come with 4GB RAM and the base storage will start at 64GB. Both the devices support microSD card and it is expandable up to 256GB.
The Galaxy S8 boasts a 3000 mAh battery and S8+ has a 3500 mAh non-removable battery. Both have Type-C USB charging.
The camera arrangement includes a 12MP rear f/1.7 lens assisted with OIS and LED flash, an 8MP shooter with a soft flash.
Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v5.0 (LE up to 2Mbps), ANT+, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS, Glonass, Beidou.
You also get the regular bunch of sensors such as Accelerometer, Barometer, Fingerprint Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Iris Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, RGB Light Sensor, and Pressure Sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 starting at $750 (48,600 INR) and $850 (55,080 INR) for the Galaxy S8 Plus in the US.
The S8 will be available in five colors total – Black, Orchid Gray, Silver, Blue, and Maple Gold. But only Black, Orchid Gray, and Blue will be available in the US.
It will be available in the US starting from April 21st and the device will be available for pre-order from March 30th.
